BEWARE OF THE CHURCH OF MAN:

BEWARE   OF THE CHURCH OF MAN:

Ø  Churches that place Christ Jesus as less than equal to God the Father (John 8: 18)

Ø  Churches that hold high regards for a book other than or in addition to the Bible (Matthew 15: 6-8; Mark 17: 13; Luke 8: 21, 11: 28)

Ø  Churches that are led by single ministers who has been single over a year or those that are single and has had girlfriend (s) or man friend (s) for that same amount of time (Hebrews 13: 4)

Ø  Churches where the pastor has a bad reputation among other ministers (Hebrews 13: 5)

Ø  Churches that emphasize Salvation by works rather than Salvation being a Gift of God through faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus (Romans 9: 30; I Corinthians 15: 1-4).

Ø  Churches where the members worship the leader, or founder as if he or she is God (Exodus 20: 3)

Ø  Also avoid those who place a worthy reverence upon a man or woman (Exodus 34: 14)

Ø  Avoid churches that try to control its members (Philippians 2: 5).

Ø  Avoid churches that require services to the organization or leader rather than voluntary service to the Lord Jesus Christ (Philemon 1: 14)

Ø  Avoid churches that refer to the church as a Business; this is clear evidence that they are not following the teachings of the Bible (Matthew 16: 18)

Ø  Avoid churches that drain the people of their substance by taking multiplied offerings that never seem to be enough and those that form lines with dollar amounts attached to them. This is not scriptural, just greed in its full manifestation (II Corinthians 9: 7)

Ø  Avoid Churches where the pastor allows hirelings to come into their church and pillage and ravage their people to share in the profit (Matthew 7: 15; Acts 20: 29-30).

Ø  Avoid Churches where the pastor allows these false brothers and sisters to come in and exploit the people with made up tales of abundant finances for those giving and extra tenth of their income for them to gain even more of the people’s finances, this is despicable.

These deceivers will always come into the congregations with prepared envelopes with set dollar amounts, tales of huge returns from tithes, fabricated stories about others huge returns, and gimmicks to acquire whatever finances the struggling Christians have remaining.21 They are not of the Truth and do not bring blessings but take them away like the robbers and thieves they have become.22
