ONE WAY TO THE FATHER

ONE WAY TO THE FATHER

God created Adam for fellowship just as each of us was created to fellowship with God. God extends His love to those who responds of their own volition to His Gift of love to the world, Christ Jesus. The Bible tells us that God has prepared great things for those who love Him.1  When God made man, He made him from the elements of the earth, and everything concerning him was set from birth to Eternity. Although we were all composed of clay from the ground, it was the breath of God that made man a living soul.2  We have nothing of value to possibly offer to the infinite God except ourselves. We were all created for God’s pleasure and with each passing day a visual review of our earthly life is being created moment by moment- detail by detail.3
Because our days on earth are numbered, believers are advised in Scripture to be examples of Christ Jesus.4 Nothing belongs to us, our time is not our own, there are things God expects us to do while we are here on earth. To begin our journey, we must first find our purpose. Christ Jesus died on the Cross, was buried and rose again from the dead for two reasons:

Ø  That He might be Lord of the dead, and
Ø  Lord of the living (Romans 14: 9)

As believers we are to convince those who are not in fellowship with God that a way of redemption has been made for them, and that we all have a purpose on earth. That purpose is to live and bring God glory. Those who are lost need to know and understand the consequences of living their life in agreement with the prince of this world [the devil] and living according to the dictates of their flesh. The lost person needs to know that death costs, and following a life style contrary to God’s plan places that individual outside of fellowship with God. Each new day we are blessed to see is a gift to us from God. Each day given, is new and fresh, and at some point during each day we are to share the goodness of Christ Jesus with others. Christ is the special Gift God has given to this lost and dying world.5
His crucifixion was not done for God’s pleasure; although it pleased the Father to do it (Isaiah 53: 10; Colossians 1: 9). Christ Jesus’ work on the Cross was done to reconcile all of God’s lost children. God’s plan for Salvation is offered to all people, but He knows that some of His children will remain lost choosing not to come back to Him, but making the choice to remain in the slave market serving their father the devil. This is why God gave man a conscience and the ability to make their own choices, so that He cannot be blamed for their going to Hell. Scripture says, "I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me" (Acts 26: 17,18).
I tell you people, the only excuse a person have today for rejecting Christ Jesus is their love for sin. Now is the time for God’s chosen people to intervene in the life of the lost by sharing the truth of the Gospel with them. We were all born in sin and in need of a Savior who had the power to redeem and reconcile us back to our Creator. Without this pardon, we were all doomed. We all have been warned of Life after, and this truth has caused many to do something about it; by making Christ Jesus their Lord and Savior. When we share this warning with others we prevent a soul from dying and going to Hell and in the process, we let them know that their eternal destination and dwelling will be no one’s fault but their own.
Each day is brand new; nothing in it will be the same as the day before. Unbelievers have to know that our gracious loving God has paid their redemption price, and every day that pass and the Gospel is not shared with someone are wasted opportunities that we may not have again. This day should be viewed as an opportunity to cause a festivity in Heaven by giving the angels an opportunity to rejoice. Christ Jesus has already paid their ransom price by shedding His own Blood for them. Once Christ is placed on the throne of our life, we:

Ø  Place a higher value on our soul
Ø  The souls of others, and
Ø  We learn how to better manage our time here on earth

A relationship with Christ causes one to get the most out of each day we are blessed to see. A relationship with Christ causes us to see the value of man’s soul as God sees it. When we think about it, Christ Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe; He paid it because the debt was too great of a penalty for any mortal man.6 All our Father wants is for believers to do their part and look beyond self to see and act upon the needs of others. When this is done Christ gives our life balance and His strength makes it easy for us as believers to make it through the struggles that each day bring by sharing His goodness with others.
There is a reason why Christ informs believers to take no thought for tomorrow. When our confidence is in Him we have no need to worry because all we need is found in Him.7  The prophet Isaiah said, he never seen the righteous forsaken or God’s seed begging bread. There are no short cuts in life and the only thing that makes life worth wild is:

Ø  Leaning
Ø  Trusting, and
Ø  Depending on Christ Jesus

Trusting Him sets you and me on the path to real security. Every man with a goal for the prize of the high calling must accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior to see God. Many people are falling for the demonic lie that says there are many roads leading to God. The end of the road will reveal that Christ Jesus was, and is the Way. It will reveal that He is the door that one must enter to see God, the Father. 8 The Bible tells us that Christ Jesus is the Way every man must go to find Truth, and Life. That He is the Truth that leads man to God, and He is Life. He is the giver of Life, and apart from Him no man will obtain Eternal Life. Because we are all born in sin we have a tendency to gravitate towards the things of the world.
The only way for men to please God is to return to Him through Christ Jesus for redemption and present them self to God a living sacrifice.9 Faithfulness and obedience to His Word is what turn life’s stumbling blocks into stepping-stones. Seeing Christ in believer’s causes lost men to see the light and come running into it.10 Many people don’t want to know about Christ Jesus out of fear of having to make improvements to themselves. What they need to know is that God never asks us to give up anything for Salvation. He offers a free Salvation to whosoever will with no strings attached. He does the work of improvement and perfection in His time when we have the desire for change. The only thing one needs to give up to be saved is their unbelief’.  This is the only sin that can prevent anyone from being admitted into the family of God.
To fulfill our earthly purpose we must put to death whatever belongs to our earthly nature, this includes:

Ø  Sexual immorality
Ø  Impurity
Ø  Lust
Ø  Evil desires and
Ø  Greed, which is
Ø  Idolatry

These are some of the things that will bring on the wrath of God, that all believers shall escape (Colossians 3: 5-7). We know and believe by faith that God will see us through all things. Our lifestyle as Christians is one that must be walked by faith. Faith is everything, and it is the only thing that pleases God.11 Sin and death reign as lord over the un-saved individual and the lost soul do not know if we don’t tell them?12  God gave the very best He had when providing a Savior to redeem man.13 Mankind even the lost man was created as the object of God’s love and affection.14  When one’s focus is on the things of Christ Jesus, this helps us to see the good in everything and everyone. This insight comes only when Christ is Lord of our life. What He does is cultivates the soils of our mind helping believers to attain and maintain a Christ-awareness that is required for renewing the mind.15
Christ first breaks up the fallow ground so that He can begin to transform our minds.16 When our minds are renewed in the Word, life becomes purposeful, and believers find peace and fulfillment on a daily basis. Each day is a day that God made and believers are to rejoice fellowshipping and communicating with God and sharing His goodness with others around us.17 We are God’s creations and have always been in His thoughts and heart.18 We are here in the place we are:

Ø  According to God’s Divine Will, and
Ø  Eternal purpose

Those who receive His Gift of Salvation can rest in Him and be at perfect peace because of the finished work of Christ Jesus on Calvary.19 Christ settled the sin debt man had accumulated with God using His own Blood.20 He satisfied the sin debt by paying for all of our sins in full, nailing them to His Cross.21 We come to Him as we are with desires to forsake those things that are unpleasing to Him, and He does the rest. Our obligation as believers is to help those who are still in darkness obtain freedom and legal access into the spiritual realm by leading them to Christ Jesus who is the Door to Father God.22 The word Lord in the Greek is Kurios meaning supreme in authority.  Christ Jesus can’t be supreme in authority as Lord of our life if sin and death still hold claims to us. Christ Jesus cancelled and wiped away the handwriting with its legal demands, which was in force standing against us, clearing us completely by nailing it to His Cross.23
Our commitment as believers is to help those who are wandering around this world still in darkness. Just as we the believers have attained freedom and legal access into the spiritual realm by and through the shed Blood of Christ Jesus we must bid others to come.24 This is what pleases God. In spite of what others may teach, there is only one way into Heaven, and that is through Christ Jesus. There is no other way and those trying to gain access to God by any other means will find it was useless.25 Trying to come into the family of God without faith in the Gospel of Grace is illegal and unacceptable.26 The door of access to God is by faith in Christ Jesus and located at ground level making the Door accessible to every man or woman who chooses to believe.27 God loves us so much that He equips believers with the full armor that is needed to stand against demonic attacks.
The believer’s power source is the Holy Spirit, and their spiritual weapons of defense are:

Ø  The Blood of Christ Jesus
Ø  His powerful name, and
Ø  His Holy Word (Mark 16: 17-19; Luke 10: 19)

The moment one believes he or she gains direct access to God through Christ. God then:

Ø  Sanctifies the believer
Ø  He forgives every sin
Ø  He justifies us, and
Ø  Gives us peace with Him by making us as if we had never sinned
Ø  He baptizes us into the Body of Christ
Ø  Sealing us with the Holy Spirit’s seal of promise, and28
Ø  He glorifies us at some future point

We become victorious Christians when we trust and obey Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. Faith is the key to unlocking the mysteries of God; we know and believe by faith. All things introduced to us in the Bible become reality to by faith.29 At one time, every Born-Again believer was once far from God as sinners, but by faith in Christ Jesus we have become His friend.30 Unbelievers are enemies of God because of:

Ø  Their unbelief and
Ø  Lack of faith31

There are two choices standing before the lost, sinning man. They are:

Ø  Life, and
Ø  Death
Making the choice to live for the flesh and die in sin brings eternal annihilation from our Creator in the forms of:

Ø  Physical and
Ø  Spiritual death32

Life, allows the individual who chose to accept the Gospel of God’s Grace to live eternally. In this option, that man or woman allows God to transform their life by the power of His Word, and the working of the Holy Spirit. I don’t care how many fountains of life and youthful serums man claim to find here on earth; we all will still get old and die unless Christ Jesus is our Lord and Savior. With Christ we are promised Eternal Life in God’s presence.33 There are choices to be made by every individual whose feet have ever been planted on this green earth for soul survival. This choice must be made on this side of the grave, or Rapture, whichever comes first. When we make the choice to accept Christ Jesus in our hearts and life, God once again owns us as his children.
We belong to God, not only by creation but also by redemption. We are reconciled back into the family of God, no longer under the confines of the god of this world fulfilling our intended purpose.34  Christ Jesus becomes our deliverer in the sense that sin and death no longer have power over us.35  We were created to please God and designed to make choices throughout life’s experience. We are going to be held accountable for our choices. You must know that the choice for Salvation is the most vital choice we will have to make because it concerns our Eternal Security and destiny. Choosing not to make a decision for Christ leaves individuals in the option of living for the flesh, which is the option we were born in. This option leads to death, and eternal separation from God.36 Our destiny and eternal security depends on our individual right to choose life or death.37 Christ Jesus can only be our Lord if we have invited him to be.38
If one dies in his or her sin, that person will have sin and death as lord in Hell’s-fire for all Eternity. God will not impose Himself in a man’s life in this physical realm; He is a gracious God, and must be invited into our lives. Satan, on the other hand, intrudes at every opportunity; his goal is to keep division between man and God.39 The Bible is not short on words when it comes to describing Satan. We know from the Word of God exactly why some people choose not to accept the Father’s generous Love Gift, and why some people will never receive Salvation. It is because “You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false”.40
The devil-Satan is the one entity that prevents lost men from making the choice to resume fellowship with the Creator, and experiencing a personal relationship with His Son Christ Jesus. When believers try with everything in us to follow the Word of God as a pattern for our life, we are sure to be successful at satisfying God’s purpose and becoming pleasing to Him, but if Satan is not resisted we permit his destruction of our life.41 "For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life" [1] (Romans 5: 10)! The Bible says that the lost or unsaved person is walking around with their spiritual eyes closed in spiritual darkness, under the power of Satan, separated from Christ, without hope in the world. These are those who have not accepted their purpose in life.
They are without God in this world, and have become enslaved by their own passions and worldly lusts – they are God's enemies and Scripture likened them to goats, foolish builders, and chaff (Matthew 25: 32, 7: 26-27; 3: 12). Without knowing our purpose and why we are on earth will cause believers to miss out on the Kingdom of God’s dear Son, that is, unless they repent, and come to God, through Christ Jesus.
